MFFBA Annual Getaway Weekend

The Miami Fire Fighters Benevolent Assoc Annual Getaway Weekend will be Thursday July 14 through Sunday July 17, 2011. Again this year we will be staying at the Marriott Marco Island Resort, Golf Club and Spa. This years room rates will be $169. You can add three days on either side if you choose to stay longer. Get with your family and friends and make your reservations early. These have always been for our members, their families, and friends, a special weekend to getaway from it all and have a great time. The proof is once you go the first time you will be returning every year like the rest of us. All those staying at the hotel are treated to the Friday night "Benevolent Sunset Happy Hour". I will be putting out more information and flyers about golf, this year Calloway scoring on Thursday afternoon 7/15 and Scramble Friday 7/16. MFFBA - The MFFBA is a proud organization established in 1937, whose membership is comprised of present and retired City of Miami Firefighters. We are a non profit association that involves itself with community and sometimes national issues. In the long history of the MFFBA we have provided joy and happiness to many in our community and our nation in times of need. HALL - The Miami Fire Fighters' Benevolent Hall is open to host private and Fire Department events. Whether it's your wedding reception, christmas party, halloween party or family affair. The Benevolent Hall is an affordable venue for all your events.

EVENTS - Throughout the year the Miami Fire Fighters' Benevolent Association sponsors a series of events. These events are intended as both fundraisers and community service. They include: Fishing Tournament, Picnics, Food and Toy Drives, etc.
